Whisker growth and painted snow
Too far away, too far to go
Winter model bundled up
Voices chilled and voices gruff
Snowdrop happy, iceberg tough
Coffee hot and furry muff
Heavy branches twist aloud
Here I wait until I'm found

My muscles now scream
They shriek out in high panic
Retreat quietly
They shriek out in high panic
Retreat quietly

an earlier cry of pink and light
and orange wishes singing sweetly
the light green sweet candy-tone
wrapped suddenly in sunlightwhite light to cover all until later

Whisk your mind the other way--
It's okay for you to stay.
Air contained within a box;
The inside's where each one locks,
To keep out all the threats of hell,
To sit inside, learn not to spell.
It's okay for you to stay.
Air contained within a box;
The inside's where each one locks,
To keep out all the threats of hell,
To sit inside, learn not to spell.

Here I am at work
Of course, with nothing to do
So here's some haiku
Of course, with nothing to do
So here's some haiku

A Love Poem
This is a love poem.
Here is the beginning.
I hope it doesn't bore you--
Please don't try to sing it.
I enjoy the things you say,
And appreciate your jokes.
And most of what you do is nice,
(Yet still I have some hopes!)
I think you look very pleasant
Even in bright yellow.
All in all I think I like you;
You're a rather grand fellow!
This has been a love poem.
And now it's almost up.
Let's say "artistic understatement"
And end abrup--
